Golf Creek Park
Apparently it’s a secret. The park is not on
the list of all St. Petersburg parks and is not identified on Google maps, but a
sizable team of ducks has found it anyway. Golf Creek Park is a shaded oasis at
Dartmouth Avenue and Park Street. Golf Creek wound through the former Jungle
Country Club golf course creating water hazards on numerous holes. It empties into
Boca Ciega Bay. Today, homes on Farragut Drive and here on Dartmouth Avenue overlook
the creek.
