Breaking news:
Jungle Prada Tavern is considering building a small rehab area for wounded seabirds at the historic Jungle Prada complex, working with a seabird sanctuary to foster recovering birds. This is great news for injured seabirds and for the neighborhood. Will update when more information is available.

The Jungle Prado (now Prada) retail space included the Gangplank nightclub, a drug store, grocery store, photographer's shop, landscape and nursery store, art and metal shop, bead store, drapery shop, real estate offices, and a hardware store. A public waiting room was provided for street car passengers. A fully-equipped garage and filling station was on the same block.
