A 1927 photo of the Jungle Hotel that I have not seen before was recently posted on the Gulfport, Florida Facebook page. It shows parked cars by the main entrance on 5th Avenue and, on the far right, the starter shack on the first tee of the golf course.
In 1930, this picture was taken of Babe Ruth and his wife Claire with the starter shack in the background.
