Pasadena-on-the-Gulf's celebrated "Fountain of Youth"
The Aquadena Well (Historic Illustration)

One of Pasadena-on-the-Gulf's unusual attractions was the Aquadena Well, promoted in the 1920s as a local "Fountain of Youth." It was located between Park Street South and the waterfront, near Coconut Grove. According to contemporary promotional materials, the well provided a plentiful supply of pure water that had been tested and approved by state authorities. Visitors were encouraged to "live long" by drinking from it, and the water was reportedly free to all.

No known photograph of the celebrated "Fountain of Youth" has been found. This illustration imagines how the attraction may have appeared based on contemporary descriptions and promotional materials from the mid-1920s.
